  I say leave JWs alone. I say leave any person of any religious system or organization alone. Who are we to meddle as if what we personally believe is right and everyone else is wrong? Who are we to meddle because we personally do not like someone else's religion or beliefs? They might not like ours either.

  Humble yourselves and let God take care it. Let God take care of ending that which is false.

  Let me meddle in your belief system.

  Harmful, manipulative and deceiving religions should not be allowed to continue unchecked. Regarding God, he hasn't done s_it to alleviate humans suffering since "creation", not even his son Jesus fixed human affairs. Why should we expect God to start fixing anything, any time in the future. By the way, I like a God that leaves humanity alone. Thank you God for not sending Jesus for the last 2,000 years. Humans, or humanists, have done a much better job at providing fair laws, human rights, freedom, opportunity, than Jesus ever did.

  hi to anyone reading this, so i little bit about myself.

  i'm 24 years old born-in, all my family are in, my father is an elder.

  though i'm not fading as such i no longer believe jw.org is gods chosen organisation so you could say i'm mentally out.

  Do the Rank & File JW's REALLY read and understand the bible to be able to REALLY start a study with someone???

  i believe the average rank & file are illiterate when it come to the bible because they are so used to using the wbats cliff notes... even though i believe the bible is a fiction novel, at least be able to explain a novel you hold is such high regard: i mean jesus!!!

  I found out that trying to explain the error of 1914 with just the Bible is a waste of time. Most JW's have no clue of what you are talking about. They believe in 1914 as a  "momentous year' and "Jesus' parousia" because the governing body says so. They have no idea about the fallacious, even false details of the doctrine. The FDS is doing a great job of protecting the belief in 1914 by not teaching anything about it.

  My take is that the new plan is a win-win no matter what happens.

  New look helps growth ( I doubt it) and therefore more revenue from the extra publisher. This adds few more years to the life of WT scheme, or

  People see the scam for what it is and leave in droves. This opens the opportunity to sell empty KH who now are more commercial and can attract more buyers, which in turn can boost the selling prices. Money disappears.

  Quran 3:195.

  Not enough. Too vague for a general application. You are not allowing us to even see the context. I feel like I am reading Christians selectively and narrowly interpreting out of context verses from the Bible to justify their preconceived ideas.

  Only second in importance to Jesus' life. No, wait, doesn't TOMO claim being Jesus' brother in a very distinct way, quite different from similar claims from your average Christian. I suppose his story is just as important as that of his older brother Jesus. Who knows, TOMO's story may even be more important. After all, Jesus couldn't even finish the job 2,000 years ago, but TOMO is the leading warrior that will take us to the final stages of the establishment of the kingdom of God on Earth, just like Russell and Rutherford brought about the kingdom of God in heaven.

  Very articulate, very intelligent, very knowledgeable. But ended with a weasel's way out of controversy when he defines religion. I was interested in buying his book until Cofty confirmed he is into selling books, promoting himself, and defending B.S. under the guise of an objective scholar.

  In minute 2:17:00 Stephen Lett in his condescending tones explains Isaiah 60:22 and demonstrates how JW's are the chosen ones; they are more populous than many sovereign states. Has anyone told him the size of the major religions,  Roman Catholic (150 times the size of JW's), Islam (almost 200 times the size of JW's), Hinduism (120 times the size of JW's) to mention just the biggest? Oh I forgot, secular education is discouraged.

  Lots of things to comment on, but what made me stop the video and take notes is how one of the speakers tries to clean up after the governing body embarrassing displays (go to 37:50).

  " we know our brothers [in the GB] even when they are frustrated and say things, sometimes they don't really mean it the way it sounds, and we have to make allowance for their frustration as well".

  They know (the business people and real leaders behind the WT) that the GB members are a liability.
